Forest City Candles was built on the foundation of eco friendly and locally made candles. The owner started making and selling of beeswax candles sourced from a London Ontario bee rescue farm. From there, Forest City Candles was created. After sourcing out local Ontario companies to supply the ecofriendly waxes and candle oils, the owner made a collection of scented, non-toxic, soy candles. To further minimize the companies environmental footprint, the owner created a jar return system, where customers can return their candle jars for refilling and receive compensation on their next order. Since the founding of Forest City Candles, the company now has merchandise in 4 different shops, as well as a good reputation for great smelling candles in the Middlesex community.
